Some fun statistics

Culling through our massive game database, we came up with some interesting data.  This is a database of over 5000 celebrities, by the way – so pay heed.  Specifically:

I would like to see the average death age of celebrities for each year. I think that would be an interesting statistic for this page. Thanks.

Do you add cause of death to your database? It seems like there would be higher rates of death by suicide, drugs and accidents for celebrities simply because of depression, availability and a higher rate of travel than among non-celebrities but I just wondered if you track that. I think it would be interesting.

I’m guessing Mike Douglas (the talk show host) was not in your database. I believe he died on his birthday.

Under the “Ten Most Popular Days to Die” section, you state:

“Interesting side note: Johnny Longden is the only person in our database to die on his birthday.”

Really? What about Mike Douglas (8/11/25–8/11/06)

    Kelly:

Jack Larson, actor who played Jimmy Olsen on the Adventures of Superman croked on September 20, 2015. Not famous enough to get a mention or at least a wisecrack?
