Just don't try using something lame like "username" as your display name, Mr. Smarty-Pants.

Your email address is what you use to login to the site. This is how we will attempt to contact you if you win anything or if there is a problem with your account.
You must enter a valid email address, so don't try anything cute. We're going to send an activation code to the email address you enter, and you won't be able to play until you confirm that the email address you entered works.
Don't worry: We !#$%@* hate spam and we're never going to send you anything unless you ask for it.
Your password must be at least six (6) characters long.
(Tip: The word "password" is a really crappy password.)
